Dear Parent/Carer

Welcome to St Margaret’s Pre-school, we are a community based

Pre-school that offers relaxed and friendly sessional care during term time for children aged 2 to school age.

Our opening hours are 

Monday 8:45-11:45  and 11:45-2:45.

Tuesday 8:45-11:45 and 11:45-2:45.

Wednesday 8:45-11:45 and 11:45-2:45.

Thursday 8:45-11:45 and 11:45-2:45.

Friday 8:45-11:45.

We work within the EYFS framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families. We aim to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for young children that enhance their development and education. In addition we offer the opportunity for you and your family to be involved in the activities of the group and in your child’s progress and learning.

We have a high ratio of staff to children at each session and each child is allocated a key person who is able to offer your child individual care and attention.

We believe in giving the children the time and attention they need to settle and to feel happy and secure with their surroundings and with the staff.

Hayley joined St Margaret's in May 2015. 

She has 21 years experience of working with children from birth - 10 years old. She has worked in nurseries, been a Nanny and a Childminder. She has worked within the Pre-School area for 12 years now.
Hayley is married with 2 children. Her son is 14 and her daughter is 12 years old. Hayley is a massive Disney fan and has been to Florida several times and Paris once. Her favourite character is Tinkerbell. Hayley was previously a Brownie and Rainbow leader and last year gained her 5 year service award. Hayley also enjoys swimming in her spare time.

Sarah joined St Margaret's Pre-School in February 2018.

Sarah has one son, who is 10 years old. Sarah enjoys attending fitness classes and Sarah is also a massive Take That fan!

Johanne Prinzi

Nursery Nurse

 Jo joined St Margaret's Pre-School in January 2022.

She has a level 3 qualification in Early years and Education, and has over 23 years of experience working with children.
Jo has been married for 32 years and has two grown up sons, aged 28 and 31 years old. 
In her spare time Jo enjoys reading, walking and Bhangra dancing. 

Amber Davis
Nursery Nurse

Amber joined St Margaret's Pre-School in April 2022. 

She is level 3 qualified and has worked in a Day Nursery for 12 years. Amber is married with two children her, daughter is 8 and son is 6. In Amber's spare time she enjoys crafting with her children, going for walks and sewing. 

Patricia Cheesley
Apprentice - working towards Level 3

Patricia joined St Margaret's Pre-School in March 2020 as bank staff and is now working towards her Level 3 EYE.
