Policy Statement
We aim to ensure the safety and welfare of all the children and staff within the Pre-School. Such unexpected closures should only happen under exceptional circumstances, when there is no means of having enough staff in the Pre-School to run the Pre-School effectively.
Procedures
In the event of the Pre-School having to close, the following will be attempted;
· Where possible parents / carers will be contacted by phone call / text message.
· An update will be posted on the Pre-School Facebook, which is linked to our website and Famly.
· In the event of an emergency closure, parents will be expected to find alternative arrangements for childcare.
· In the event of extreme weather warnings (e.g. Snow), a decision about whether to open will normally follow the guidance of Grange Schools. If they close, so does the Pre-School.
· Should the Pre-School be forced to close, we regret that it will be unable to reimburse parents for theses session fees.
